Yesterday some of my lovely family got together for a lovely lighthearted evening of fun, courtesy of Popchips!
Popchips have recently launched two lovely Limited Edition flavours; Sea Salt, Garlic and Rosemary, and Sea Salt, Caramelised Onion and Thyme. The flavours are inspired by gourmet recipes, and use natural seasoning – so they have loads of flavour but less than half the fat of fried crisps.
I was challenged to cook something light using the ingredients from one of the two new Popchips flavours. A friend had talked about making Camembert with Rosemary recently, so I thought it would be perfect to do something like that.
I cut the top off the camembert, poked in some rosemary and sliced garlic, and drizzled on some olive oil. I also drizzled some olive oil on some chunks of crusty bread, sprinkled them with salt and poked some rosemary stems through them. That all went into the oven together until the Camembert was all lovely and gooey.
We also had loads of other food, including the new limited edition Popchips flavours – which everyone really liked; I made Mojitos, and we drank lots of Prosecco with raspberries.
After we’d eaten we then had lots of fun playing some games together, and being silly and posing with some accessories.
You may not believe me, but I seriously did not arrange for this to happen…..!
She absolutely loved them and ate A LOT. If only her hair wasn’t such a mess, she could have been their new model! 😉
We had a really nice afternoon and evening together. It was really chilled, and fun, and nice to just stop and relax for a bit amongst all the Christmas madness.
The Popchips limited edition flavours, as well as the original seven flavours, are available at a range of stockists. Find out more at Popchips.co.uk
