It’s Friiiiiiday!

little loves linky

I hope you’ve all had a lovely week. Mine has been BUSY! I was in London twice last week for press and blogging events, once overnight, and then I was there again on Tuesday for a lovely event with Disney and Epson! I also saw lots of my amazing friends at two of them which was rather lovely.

A had her last settling in session at her new school yesterday – I’m still not quite accepting she’s going there yet, but it turns out a girl she is really good friends with at nursery is going to be in her class! So that’s lovely for them, and they’re so excited.

Welcome to this weeks Little Loves!

Read

I actually finished a book! I think that’s the first time in over a year, which is weird for me. I absolutely love reading and books. The book I finished was the third Robert Galbraith (aka J.K Rowling) – (aside – do you ever read a book and finish it and have no clue what it was called…?) Career of Evil. I enjoyed it, but I don’t think it was quite as good as the others. I really like the characters though, and I look forward to reading the next one when it comes out.

Watched

More Orange is the New Black and a bit of the new season of Pretty Little Liars (I am NOT used to episodes coming on once a week anymore, and I don’t like it!). I also watched Lucy-Jo Hudson modelling a garden-inspired dress at the Hampton Court Flower Show, when I went with Zoflora – she was so lovely and she liked my dress!

I also watched Ava playing with my friend Maria’s son at a Tefal event, which was bloody lovely. None of our kids have had chance to play together before and even though they wouldn’t talk to each other at first, they both eventually played and had lots of fun together whilst we cooked/drank Prosecco/chatted and had our pictures taken, and they both talked about each other on the way home *heart melts*.

Wore

I wore this dress from ASOS to the Epson and Disney event I went to (sorry, I’m not trying to show off – I’ve just mostly been at events the last couple of weeks!). I love it so much, as it’s so easy to wear (story of my life), AND something that makes it a million times better (no, not pockets, unfortunately) – it doesn’t need ironing – I just wash and go baby! It’s one of those dresses where I don’t really give a shit if it doesn’t really look great, because it’s just so (oh, I’m boring myself now) – easy to wear, and comfy, and I can eat everything and nobody can tell. It is lovely too though, although this picture does not do it, or me clearly, justice. Plus Elsa just showed me up with her posh frock. What a c**t.

Heard

Myself singing ‘Hold up’ by Beyonce, absolutely beautifully – I bloody love it. Also Ava having lots of screaming fits, yes she’s four, yes she either acts like a baby or a teenager, no I don’t love it.

I also heard every last person on earth talking about the Pokemon thingy – I had absolutely no idea what anyone was talking about until enough people had talked about it for me to grasp kind of what it’s about. I completely ignored it when people talked about it at first, because I thought it was just a kids thing. It sounds kind of crazy, and kind of fun, and I reckon if I tried it I might become obsessed with it and forget to live real life anymore, kinda like how I do with social media.

Made

I ‘made’ Leek and Potato Soup along with Maria and Anna at the Tefal event. I say made, because really we just did as the Tefal Cook4me told us to do – but it was so quick and easy, and even though I’m not the biggest soup fan – it was really tasty! I’m really forward to getting my own!

And lastly…

It’s my birthday soooooon!!!

Hope you have a WONDERFUL weekend!

Sounds like you’ve been busy having fun. I really want to watch orange is the new black. I know what you mean about not liking watching one episode a week. I love leek and potato soup.

  2. Maria says:

You have been a busy lady! I burst out laughing when I saw that photo of M and A! They are just too cute together!! Xx

  3. Jealous of all your events, sounds like you’ve been having a blast! I’ve ignored PLL the last few weeks, so I can have a complete binge when they’re all out haha xx

  4. Morgana says:

Wow, you have been busy!! I went to a Tefal event a few months ago and that thing is amazing isn’t it? I really need to get myself one.
I’ve completely fallen out of love with PLL, I think I’m going to save up the weekly episodes so I can binge watch them later 😉 xx

    • Yeah, it’s great – I’m so excited to get mine! Ahh, I didn’t like it that much at the beginning, and gave up on it once, but I’ve really loved it as it’s gone on xx

  5. Wow sounds like a crazy week for you but all pretty exciting. Unfortunately i think Elsa can upstage anyone in the dress department but you look pretty damn good to me. x
