I was completely and utterly spoilt for my thirtieth birthday. I got thirty (THIRTY!) presents from the boy including a camera I desperately wanted but was sure I wouldn’t get. He kept it back until the very end and let me think he hadn’t bought it for me and then popped it out after I’d finished opening everything else. We stayed in this tiny hamlet near Padstow in a really cute cottage. The cuteness was a bit of a pain… View Post

We’ve just come back from a few days in Whitby, where Paul’s mum has a lovely little cottage. We enjoyed lovely long walks (and when I say lovely, I mean tiring.. I’m not the biggest walker), lots of wine, good food, the best bacon cobs from a little butchers in a nearby village, good company and beautiful sunny, chilly weather. Ava also became better friends with Frank; Paul’s sister and husband’s black labrador who constantly wanted to lick her face!… View Post
