Don’t Leave These Wedding Plans Until the Last Minute

2nd June 2017

It’s hard to plan everything for your big day. After all, there is so much to do and sort that it can be hard to order them in priority. And it means a few essential things get put at the bottom of the pile. But if this does happen, it could mean you end up spending way more than you have to on these details. And it could cause things to go wrong if you leave them till the week before your big day. Therefore, here are some wedding plans you cannot leave until last minute!

Choosing the wedding rings

A lot of people put wedding rings at the bottom of priorities when it comes to wedding planning. After all, they think they can just pop into the shop and choose a ring for the big day. And take it away with them on the same day. But if you are left with little time to choose a ring, you might opt for something way over your budget. After all, you might not have time to go and look around shops to see different prices. So you might spend an arm and a leg on the ring. Not only this but sometimes they might not have the right size in store for your ring finger. So they might need to send away for the ring. But when they do this, it could be weeks rather than days. Therefore, you need to start hunting a ring down at least a month or two before the big day!

Sorting out wedding insurance

It’s also important that you get some cover for your wedding day. After all, if something occurs, you don’t want to have to pick up the pieces without any money coming back to you and your hubby to be. Otherwise, it might be a quick trip to the registry office rather than a big do if you lose all your funds! Therefore, you need to sort out wedding insurance for your big day. And you need to arrange it in advance to ensure you go with a legitimate company. After all, you want to make sure you get proper cover from companies like wedinsure rather than a brand who will not pay you if the worse does occur. Therefore, sort insurance out at least a couple of months before the big day! And that way, you can make a claim even before the wedding if suppliers let you down.

Booking a honeymoon

Brides to be concentrate so much on the big day that their honeymoon often goes on the backburner. After all, you are in a wedding bubble so can’t see past the wedding. But to ensure you get a honeymoon off your dreams, you should be looking at booking it at least four months before your big day. After all, you can then have plenty of choice of where to go for your honeymoon. And won’t be left with just a few options which don’t take your fancy. Also remember if you want to travel in your new name, you will need to order a passport in advance. Therefore, do this in good time to ensure the ID arrives!

And remember to sort out a playlist for the DJ in advance. That way, your songs of choice will definitely be played on the wedding day!
