Ava is a very lucky girl and received an early Christmas present from Galt Toys recently. They very kindly sent us the Galt Toys Children’s Trampoline.
She already loved jumping so I thought she would like it, and I was right. She adores it. She was so excited by just the picture on the box, but then I made the stupid mistake of trying to build the trampoline whilst alone with Ava! Needless to say, it didn’t get completed until later that night and my handiwork needed to be re-done.
The trampoline is quite straight forward to put together, but I still managed to do a bit of it wrong and we didn’t find out til the end so had to undo it all and start again, but I’m rubbish at reading instructions so it was my fault. The only bit that was a bit of a pain was trying to get the mat central once you’d wrapped the cord around the frame but the boy sorted that pretty easily (sorry to be a let down ladies). Everything else was straightforward.
The trampoline has a handle that is easily unscrewed and removed, and the legs fold down for easy storage which is really useful, and it is suitable for indoor and outdoor use. It is nice and safe with a padded cover around the mat so that little feet can’t fall through the cord. The trampoline costs £49.99 from the Galt Toys website, which I think is a good price for such a lovely looking, good-quality children’s trampoline.
Ava loves it so much; the first time she saw it she was so excited, she said ‘oh wow’, jumped straight on, held onto the handle and started bouncing with a big grin on her face! Since then she’s spent so much time on it; she likes to take all of her toys on it, sits reading on it and also likes to sit with a snack on it. She calls it her ‘tramper’ :) It looks really nice and will last ages and be great outside in the summer.
I didn’t think we owned anything from Galt Toys but after looking at their website I discovered we also own this:
Ava was given this as a favour at our friends wedding and we love it. The little wooden figures pop up when you press down on them so it’s really fun for little one’s (and me!) to see how far they will go, and I really like that it’s wooden so it looks nice and Ava’s at the perfect age to talk about the different colours. It also encourages hand/eye co-ordination.
We were sent a trampoline from Galt toys to review, but all thoughts and opinions are my own or Ava’s.
