Impractical Jokers, Chocolate Balls, and My Mum #LittleLoves

4th March 2016

It’s Friday! This week has been such a blur! Honestly, it feels like we’ve just jumped from last Friday straight to this one, but that’s probably a good thing, it hasn’t been the best week. Anyway, I’m feeling more positive and looking forward to the weekend!

Welcome to this weeks Little Loves!

Read

I don’t think I’ve read anything other than a few blog posts from friends this week. Oh I did read a bit of The Oxo Cookbook below, at the event I went to.

Watched

I watched Dean Edwards of Masterchef and ITV’s Lorraine fame, making soup, also at the Oxo event, which was fun.

I have watched a little bit of Pretty Little Liars, and a couple of nights ago I watched quite a lot of Impractical Jokers. I’ve been a bit low recently (to put it mildly) and so laughing out loud (or lol’ing!) at that for a while was exactly what I needed. It’s so uncomfortable to watch sometimes, it makes me squirm, but it really makes me laugh.

Heard

That my mum and step-dad will be moving much closer to us soon, so we should be able to see them quite a bit more, which makes me very happy! I miss my mum so much when she’s away – I haven’t seen her since Christmas, and it feels like ages. My mum is wonderful and I hope she knows it (don’t cry mother).

Made

I made something yesterday! It was very quick and simple, but that’s about as far as I go at the moment. I made these Salted Chocolate and Tahini Snack Balls from Celery and Cupcakes and they were really nice and so quick to make (excuse the horrendous picture).

Wore

Very little. Or very little of interest anyway. Mostly sexy leggings, t-shirts and big cardy’s. I did put jeans on a couple of times to go out. It’s been a tough week, what can I say. Here’s to wearing actual outfits next week!

And lastly…

I’m feeling a little bit brighter and so I’m looking forward to some things I have coming up soon; trips away, seeing friends, birthday celebrations. It’s nice to be feeling more positive about things again, and the blue skies we are having in between all the rain really help.

Hope you’ve had a delightful week, and have a great weekend xx
