The range of great products for kids from the brand Trunki have really grown this year, and we’ve been lucky enough to review them all, and it’s a brand we have really grown to love. Now we have a new product to add to A’s collection – a ToddlePak Backpack.
The ToddlePak Backpacks from Trunki are fun and colourful backpacks for kids aimed at ages 2+, with 5 different designs – three of them animals (a lion, a tiger, and a dinosaur), and the other two blue and pink to match the Terrance and Trixie Trunki’s.
Ava chose the lovely Lion design and we’ve been so happy with it. It’s a really nice bright yellow and is very cute. It’s absolutely brilliant quality, as you always get with the Trunki brand and Ava has been taking it with her everywhere she goes, and playing with it at home too!
The backpack is suitable for ages 2+, but actually, it’s the perfect size for Ava at 5 years old. So often bags that are supposedly suitable for her age absolutely swamp her, but this is the perfect size for her to carry her things around with her, without it getting too heavy or uncomfortable. She has used it for school to carry a change of clothes in if she has been going to someone’s house after school, as well as filling it with toys for a day out. You can fit plenty in it, and it really is the most perfect size for kids around this age (plus I’m sure for those a bit younger and older too). I gave up trying to find a backpack for Ava earlier this year as I just couldn’t find one that wasn’t either too small and more of an accessory, or way too big for her to be comfortable with.
She loves the cute design and so do I. Trunki always make their products with the cutest little features that make them even more special for children. Leeroy the Lion ToddlePak has a soft mane around his head, and a lovely tail that comes from the back. You can really tell that Trunki really make their products for kids to love and enjoy using, as well as practical from a parents point of view, and I love that.

The four designs are all lovely, in a great range of colours, and Ava had a tough time choosing between the lion, the tiger, and the pink one! The straps on the bag are a good size and will fit a wide age-range of kids, and there is also an extra chest strap that clicks together to keep it even more secure.
There is also an outside mesh pocket on the side of the bag which is perfect for holding a drinks bottle. The handle across the top of the bag is a great addition, and is really padded so it’s so comfortable to hold that way. There’s even a hook to hang the bag on a school or nursery peg.
My reviews are always very honest, but with all of the Trunki products, I really struggle to find anything negative to say about them – the products are all amazing quality, well thought-out, and practical, with fun designs that kids love. It is a brand that I have really come to love and trust, and I’ve recommended the Trunki suitcases to so many people (and bought them as gifts too).
