Coppers and Rose Golds have been everywhere for a long time now, and the trend shows no sign of slowing down. I’m a big fan too – I think they are such pretty colours and work so well for interiors.
First Choice Lighting asked me if I would like to choose one of their lamps to review, and it was obviously meant to be as the lampshade on the lamp I had in my lounge had just died a smashed-to-smitherines-death. A copper kismet.. or something.
I chose this pretty copper table lamp to sit on the little coffee table in my lounge, and it looks lovely. I love the black against the metal – I really like its sleek, modern, and simple look. I don’t like a fuss when it comes to interiors and this fits my tastes perfectly. Copper is really good at just adding a bit of colour to a room and I love it.
The lamp seems to be really high quality and well-made. It is currently £50.47 from £75, so you definitely get what you pay for here. I haven’t spent that much on a lamp before, but seeing as you use them every day and it should last you for years, then it doesn’t seem too bad.
First Choice Lighting do a great range of table and floor lamps, and indoor and outdoor lighting at a wide variety of price points. They specialise in bathroom, kitchen, living and garden lighting and apply their decades of industry knowledge to provide a carefully selected range of high-quality, ultra durable, covetable products.
The website mostly has clear product descriptions for the products, but I do wish they had them for all of them, as some of the lamps I was looking at didn’t have the blurb about the product that I really like to read if I’m considering buying a product. You can search the website by product or room though, which is really helpful – particularly as they stock so many products.
I’m really happy with my new lamp, and I will definitely use First Choice Lighting again when I need some lighting for my home.
I was sent the lamp for review, but all words and opinions are my own.
I am in love with that lamp. It’s so modern and looks stunning.
It’s really pretty isn’t it. I am a bit obsessed with copper homeware at the moment! x
