We’re big fans of Trunki in this house. We have had Ava’s Trixie Trunki suitcase since she was really little, and always used it for nights away, and I have also bought a couple for friends as new baby gifts. They make a lovely present, as they are fun for kids whilst being useful for the parents too.
Now Trunki have added further to their collection of products, with the brand new Trunki EAT range – foodie travel accessories, including drinks bottles, lunch bags, and snack pots, all in lovely fun designs.
We have the Harley drinks bottle (£7.99), the Tipu lunch bag (12.99), and the Terrance Snack Pots (£7.99). They are all really nice and appealing to kids, and as with all Trunki products, they are brilliant quality. Ava was very excited to get them and played with them at home for the first day or two until I stole them off her to wash! She really loves that the drinks bottle comes with a strap so she can wear it round her neck, and she wants to use it every day for school.
Ava has insisted on having a packed lunch for school again at the moment, and the Trunki lunch bag is perfect for that. It is a really good size – having plenty of room to fit everything in easily, but not being too large or cumbersome. Ava loves the bright tiger-striped design, and I do too. It looks cool, and stands out on the lunch trolley at school when I’m picking it up! The five colours that are available at the moment offer something to suit all kiddos and I think A would be happy with any of them.
The thing I love most about the Harley lunch bag (and all of them) is the strap that it has. It can be worn two ways – either as a backpack or as a shoulder bag, which means that even if your child is always grumpy at the end of a long day (tell me I’m not the only one) they are usually happy to carry it themselves in whichever way they prefer. Plus being able to wear it as a backpack makes it great for days out with a picnic lunch. I think we’ll definitely get lots of use out of it on days out over the summer.
The Trunki lunch bag has lots of other great features:
- An easy to clean, seamless liner
- Fully insulated and moisture resistant
- Inner mesh pocket suitable for an ice pack or additional food
- Write-on area for tot’s name – Designed to match the Trunki suitcase
- Can be used with the Trunki Drinks Bottle and Snack Pack
The Trunki drinks bottle is really nice and easy to use for little ones. It is non-spill and designed so that children can hold it and drink from easily, as well as carry it themselves with the adjustable strap.
The Trunki Drinks Bottle is non-spill and designed for little ones to easily hold, drink from or carry. It has a pop-top lid with a straw (and you also get a spare straw with it which is great). Ava loves it – the only problem is that I’ve been struggling to fit the rubber straw back into exactly the right place after it’s been washed. It’s not a massive issue, but it’s slightly annoying.
The other features include:
- Adjustable carry strap that can be attached to a buggy or worn
- Designed to match the Trunki suitcase
- Fits inside the Trunki Lunch Bag Backpack along with the Trunki Snack Pots
- BPA, PVC and Phthalate free
The Trunki snack pots are perfect for storing your child’s snacks of all shapes and sizes, encouraging little ones to eat what they want on the move. A set contains three colourful pots of differing size, and they nest inside each other for easy storage. They fit inside the lunch bag along with the drinks bottle, and the smaller ones are also great for popping in your own bag to carry snacks in. They are also BPA,PVC and Phthalate free which is really important to me when it comes to kids’ things.
We love all of the new range from Trunki – they’re practical, fun and great quality at a good price.
