Loves: The raw chocolate hearts (or now penguins – we have a new ice cube tray!) we make, nursery (yay!), Doc McStuffins, seeing family, being with other girls and boys her age, talking about the dead bird at the bottom of Grandma’s garden (weirdo).
Dislikes: Me, most of the time #meanmummy, being told ‘no’ to anything, most breakfast cereals.
Favourite foods: Pizza and sausages (not together!) as always, Spaghetti Bolognaise, chocolate, chorizo, and she even tried some of my rare steak the other day and loved it! Expensive tastes like her mother, that girl.
Favourite toy: She’s gone back to a few very old favourites recently; the two Woofy’s are back and she’s also been loving Nelly (the Elephant) who used to be mine.
Favourite book: One that we got from the library – Usbornes ‘Noisy Spooky Book’. It is one of those books with buttons that make noises and she loves it but is also a bit scared of some of the characters in it. Monsters are bothering her a bit at the moment, so it maybe wasn’t the best choice of book!
Challenges this month: Getting her to finally start using the toilet rather than her potty and then getting her to use it without whinging when she’s tired, and getting her to eat her breakfast without having a huge mardy and at any kind of speed before nursery has been fun.
Best bits: Starting nursery, using the toilet instead of the potty with confidence and ease.
She seems to have grown up a lot in the last couple of months; she has had a growth spurt and is looking really tall and her hair has also grown which makes her look older. Also, using the loo all by herself and then moving the step across to the sink to wash her hands makes her seem really grown up – I love it!
