Blonde Hair, Christmastime and Rockin’ Robins… #LittleLoves

I’m torn right now between being happy that it’s Friday, and terrified that Christmas is only a week away. I feel like someone must be lying to me because I don’t know how it can possibly be that time already. I am nowhere near ready. I keep seeing people panicking because they haven’t finished wrapping their presents yet, or haven’t got the reindeer food ready – but I haven’t even started wrapping, haven’t quite finished buying, and my Christmas decorations are not all up yet. In fact my Christmas tree is propped up in the corner, bare of decorations, after it fell over during the night a week ago and I haven’t had time to sort it again yet – Merry f*cking Christmas! 🙂

I’m not really bah humbug at all; I bloody love Christmas, I just haven’t got time for it at the moment and I’m so exhausted. I know at some point next week I’ll just have to stop and accept wherever I am with everything. Hopefully after this weekend we’ll be a little more organised and I can relax a bit (yeah right!).

I don’t think I have really read anything this week, apart from my own words, over and over again. I’m pretty sure I’ve read a few blog posts, but I really can’t remember.

Watched

I watched Ava in her first ever ballet Christmas ballet show! It was so lovely! Her group did ‘Rockin’ Robin’ and they were so adorable and rather funny too! I don’t have any photos as we weren’t allowed to take them during the show, and it was all a big rush. It was filmed though and some photos were taken, so we should have some soon. It was really lovely to see her do something like that – she loves going to ballet and tap so much, and seeing her friends.

This afternoon we are going to see her in her nursery class’ Christmas singing show, which should be fun! She has been singing Christmas songs for a couple of months now, and recently started doing little actions too, and it’s very cute. I can’t wait to see it! Her Grandma is coming to watch too, so Ava will be so excited!

I have also managed to watch the entire series of ‘How to Get Away With Murder’ which I got into really quickly, and really enjoyed. I’ve been watching it late at night whilst working, and the trouble with Netflix is that it just carries straight on to the next one doesn’t it?! Late nights ahoy!

I’ve also started watching Luther from the beginning, as everyone seems to rave about it.

I also saw James Corden’s Carpool Karaoke with One Direction, and thought it was so good – I love James Corden and One Direction, (well Harry. Yes I am 14), and I loved the singing!

Made

In this bit I always reallllly want to write ‘…love in this club’, but I’m not that immature, and I haven’t made love in that club, so I won’t.

Wore

Mostly Christmas pyjamas, and/or a combination of leggings, jumpers, and a big snuggly cardigan. But I did put jeans and a big fluffy jumper on to go and get my hair done! I’ve gone a lot blonder this time and I mostly like it! I was worried it wouldn’t suit me of course, but I feel like it doesn’t look that different on me for some reason. It looks a bit yellow-toned in the photo, but I don’t think it does in real life!

And Ava had her Christmas party at nursery on Wednesday. She looked very cute.

Heard

I’ve started listening to Christmas songs a bit more this week, which has been nice. I don’t feel like I’ve had the chance to feel that Christmassy yet, even though it’s NEXT BLOODY WEEK, so I’m relying on The Pogues and Mariah Carey to work their magic.

And lastly…

I’m so busy at the moment that I literally can’t think what I’m doing the next day most of the time, and I have a million little things to remember. This weekend I have some work to do, but I’m also hoping to get chance to start wrapping presents, and redecorate the blooming tree. We also might be seeing some friends a bit too which will be nice.

Ooh I’ve just realised this is the last #LittleLoves before Christmas day! I hope you all have a WONDERFUL Christmas and get everything you’ve always dreamed of xxx
