They say money can’t buy you happiness, and whilst I suppose that’s kind of true, I reckon having money can make life a whole lot better, and certainly easier. No, money can’t buy you love (whatever those websites say), or stop you from getting ill, but it can get you an amazing house in a lovely area, a sexy car, and all the cheese and prosciutto you can eat (heaven).
I think the biggest thing for me would be that having loads of money would give my family and I freedom. Freedom to explore the world as we want to, freedom to move somewhere else and to not be worried about money all the time.
My family have never had much money, and whilst that didn’t have any affect on the wonderful childhood that my mum created for me – she worked damn hard to make sure of that – it can’t have been easy for her, and now I know from experience as a mother that it is damn hard not being able to give your child things that everyone else has or do what they do. I know A is actually very lucky and gets pretty spoilt because of this here blog – she gets opportunities and gifts she would never get otherwise. But it does suck not being able to take her places I know she would love, and explore the world how I’d like to while she is still young.
So whilst I know how lucky we are, it’s still nice to dream and imagine what we would buy if we were to win the lottery and have sh*tloads of money. I think it’s important in life to have dreams, especially with all of the horrible stuff going on in the world, and it’s fun to imagine what you would do if you won the lottery.
I do play the lottery sometimes, but I’d never actually heard of Lottoland before (I don’t really watch adverts) – but I do really like the idea.
With Lottoland you can play the lottery in loads of different countries, such as the Irish Lotto or the Oz Lotto, as well as the Euromillions which we have here. Instead of buying a ticket as you normally would, you are actually betting on the outcome of the lottery. This allows you to bet on lottos from all over the world, which you wouldn’t normally have access to!
You play in exactly the same way as you would if you were buying a ticket – choose your numbers and then wait for the draw to happen, and cross your fingers 😉 It’s really easy and fun to use the website, and I love being able to enter the lottery in different countries with different chances of winning. You can choose the numbers yourself, or choose Quick Picks, so the numbers are picked for you, and you can choose which day you want to play and for how many weeks.
There are also scratchcards that you can buy on the site, which you can buy by in bulk at a saving, or individually, and they are way too much fun to play (I won £25!).
I will definitely be using Lottoland to play the lottery again – it’s just like doing the lottery online over here, but there’s lots more choice and it’s lots more fun!
Now you can win £50 credit to give Lottoland a go yourself! All you have to do to enter is complete the Rafflecopter widget below – good luck!
