Sense Organics – Organic Clothing for Little People // A Review and Giveaway

19th July 2016

Sense Organics are a lovely independent business who design and manufacture organic and fairtrade children’s clothing. They have been an established brand in Germany for over 18 years and have just launched in the UK. The founder – Kirsten Weihe-Keidel – dreamed of a range of organic baby clothes, that would be afforadable and accessible to all parents – long before eco fashion became popular.

So, in 1996 Kirsten founded Sense Organics to bring durable, sustainable baby clothes to all. The clothes are stylish, organic and certified fairtrade, which I love. All of their clothes start with 100% organic cotton and the company ensure that the working conditions in their factories are fair. They avoid the harsh chemicals used in the traditional cotton manufacturing process. I really love the ethos behind the brand and that they care about the manufacturers of their clothing, as well as the kids that will be wearing them.

They have loads of lovely clothes, that are really stylish whilst still being fun, and really comfortable for little ones. Sense Organics sell premium kids clothes from birth up to age six, and they have lots of lovely clothing, with great prints, as well as gifts and skincare for the little one’s.

The Clothing

I chose three beautiful pieces from the brand to review, and the quality of all of them is just beautiful. The pyjamas in particular feel so soft and cosy, and I really want a pair for myself! The Peter Pan Pyjamas are so cute, with a little star print top and lovely grey bottoms, and Ava looks gorgeous in them. They are made from premium quality single rib organic cotton jersey to keep them snuggly and warm at night, and Ava never wants to take them off! I think £18.50 for something of such high quality isn’t too bad at all, especially comparing them to some non-organic and lesser quality items that are similar.

We also chose a lovely summer outfit with a pineapple theme – the girls ‘Zoe’ T-shirt, and the girls ‘Mascha’ skirt. They are both so pretty and make a perfect summery outfit together. The little details really add something to the pieces and make them stand out from other items we own. The t-shirt has the lovely frill detailing down the sleeves which can make it a slightly dressier piece if you want it to be, and it looks so pretty on Ava. And the skirt has pockets which is always a big plus in my opinion, and A loves it too!

The Skincare

Sense Organics also sell natural skincare alongside their organic baby clothes, which I love as I always try to choose more natural products for my daughter’s skin, especially because she gets a bit of eczema. Their organic skincare range is certified vegan and free of chemicals and synthetics.

They’re a really lovely brand who seem to care about the products that they sell and their customers, and I love that about them. The clothes are beautiful, with some lovely little touches, and you can really see and feel the quality of them.
