The Paper Fortune Teller and the Cheeky Monkey #MySundayPhoto

5th November 2017

Do you remember Paper Fortune Tellers? This photo was taken in Kingston-Upon-Thames where we stayed for a couple of days with Craig during our trip to Chessington World of Adventures. I’d taken a little kids activity book with us for Ava and it had a couple in there to make. So we spent a lot of time choosing a number, colour and then having to moo like a cow over that couple of days.

I used to love those things when I was young; I don’t know why but they seemed like so much fun. I googled to find out what they were called and someone mentioned that we used to do them in a way so that you ended up finding out that you were going to live in a shack, drive a Porsche and have six kids. Ahh the dream hey. Being a kid was pretty fun, wasn’t it?

  1. I do remember making those. We did first letter of his name (limited choices!), eye colour /hair colour (dependant on what popped out) and what village nearby they lived in. Those were the days. Lovely photo and memories. #MySundayPhoto

I was obsessed with these things as a kid and loved introducing my children to them. Gorgeous pic by the way

  3. That is such a cheeky face, my girls have been making lots of these lately

    Thank you for linking up

  4. That is a knowing look that you are about to end up with the most amazing future. Mine went through a stage of making them. They explode in number, if left unmonitored. #MySundayPhoto
