I live in jeans. I honestly don’t know what I would do without them. They are so practical, comfortable, and go with everything.
I have had quite the love affair with Topshop jeans for years and years. I don’t actually remember how long ago I actually bought some jeans from a different shop. The styles at Topshop are just so brilliant, and there is such a huge range of colours and fits at a decent price.
I live in a couple of my pairs, but I think I probably have about another ten that I also wear. I love my skinnies, and have worn them for years and years, and despite the fact that they are apparently going out of style now (*cries*) I can’t imagine ever being without them.
I know not everyone finds skinny jeans flattering, but the ones I wear I find very flattering and as long as they fit properly I think I look slimmer in them than a baggier pair.
My favourite jeans are my black Topshop Leigh’s. I live in them and have for years. They are really thin and mid-rise, which sits just nicely on me – not too low or too high, and are less denim-like than most jeans. I just find them so easy to wear and throw on with anything. I do find the black ones fade a bit after a while but at £38 I do think they last a good while.
The other’s that I alternate with my Leigh’s, are the Topshop Jamie’s which are a pretty popular style. They come in loads of different colours – I have the black (surprise, surprise) and mine are ripped – I love love love them. They are just a bit more edgier with the rips and I love the way they look with just a t-shirt, leather jacket and trainers. I also have a pair of blue Jamie’s, a white pair, and some aubergine ones, but my black one’s are my favourite.
The Jamie’s come up higher on the waist and are a much thicker denim than the Leigh’s. I find them pretty comfy, but they are quite stretchy and very tight fitting.
I do occasionally like to wear a looser boyfriend-style jean, but at the moment the one’s I have (Topshop Lucas in blue) are way too big for me, as I got them not long after I had Ava.
I love white jeans in the summer and I have the Jamie’s as I found the white Leigh’s too thin and see-through when I tried them. I find white jeans a really great way in the summer to make an outfit slightly more interesting and dressier than wearing a blue or black pair, and they’re just more summery.
Topshop have lots of pale coloured jeans in for summer too – pale pink, mint and lots of white in different styles.
I have heard the Joni Jeans are amazing but I’m yet to try them, I like the cut on the two in this post too! I’m like you as I love skinny jeans (and leggings) I think they are so much simpler to dress up or down and can be worn all the time!
P.S You look amazeballs in those photos!
