They Call Me Mellow Yellow | Dungarees in Logrono, Spain

We spent a few lazy days in lovely Logrono, which is in La Rioja, the home of Rioja. It has such beautiful buildings and lovely little streets to get lost in. It was red hot the whole time we were there; over 30°c and very muggy.

We found this pretty yellow wall, and I love yellow so we stopped and took a few photos whilst Ava was in a good mood for once, before going back to our hotel. We had just been for a really delicious, very big lunch at a great little outside place, and Paul and I had shared a bottle of Rioja, so we were all feeling nice and chilled!

I love wearing dungarees. I love that they are almost a complete outfit and they just seem so effortlessly cool (on other people at least!). I have been saving these for my holiday as I think they are a little bit short for me to wear in England. I don’t know why it makes a difference, but it does.

I didn’t notice until we were already dressed, but Ava and I ended up matching with our blue and white stripes! It actually happens pretty often, without planning it, and I only usually realise when someone else points it out.

My dungarees were from Primark last year, my top was from ASOS recently, and my flip flops are almost as old as me, from Office. A’s dress is from Next, and I love it. It’s just really simple and cool, and easy for her to wear. Her frilly socks are also from Next, and her shoes are Converse.
